Our Children's Program provides school-aged refugee and immigrant children with the opportunity to be matched one-on-one or in small groups with a tutor; to practice their English; to socialize with other refugee and immigrant children of diverse backgrounds; to go on exciting, educational field trips; and to participate in both individual and group activities designed to foster their psychosocial and creative growth.
Currently, the program runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday during the school year. The program does not run when the public schools are on break.
If you have an immigrant or refugee child whom you would like to have participate in our program, please contact us for further details.
If you would like to volunteer to be a tutor for the program, or to help the program in other ways, please fill out a Volunteer Interest Form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
