Her daughter has been visiting her grandparents and it is now time for the little girl to come home. But there is a problem. Her mother, the girl’s grandmother, won’t be able to bring her as originally planned. Mom does not know what to do.
Guadalupe calms her and tells her not to panic yet, airlines have a courier service for unaccompanied minors. For a fee your child will be brought safely to you. But when talking with the airline to be used they find out the minimum age is five and the little girl is only three. She is not eligible to use the courier service.
The daughter will have to remain with her grandparents until someone else, with the permission of her parents, can bring her back to the United States. Guadalupe advised her to talk with all of her relatives and see if anyone is going home for the holidays and would be willing to bring her daughter back to the U.S. Though she left sadder; she did leave with a possible plan.
